Give the specialist a workable view of the site
Photograph the entire tree from more than one safe position and show its relationship to buildings, roads, gardens and boundaries. Include a route from the likely loading point to the tree.

Agree what remains
A removal scope should state whether timber and chips stay, whether the stump is left, ground down or separately treated, and whether replacement planting is relevant. This changes equipment, time and the final condition of the garden.
